Twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil were born in Germany and raised in Italy. With parents originating from Czech Republic and Australia, they eventually moved to Australia in 2012 to further their music career. While based in Melbourne they released three EP’s - ‘It’s not words’, ‘Somewhere Sometime’ and ‘Nostalgia’. Amistat's debut album ‘Parley’ was released in 2016 and set them off on a number of Australian and European tours. Following a recent two month tour with Australian band "Sons of the East", playing 49 shows in 15 countries, Amistat released their latest EP ‘Love and Light” in october 2019, which saw them return to Europe and UK in November to headline their own tour. The twin brothers returned to Australia early January 2020 for a two month run of headline shows and festivals to promote the release of their new EP and in march 2020 they released a live album recorded whilst on tour featuring their personal favorite originals.
Finding themselves in the soundscape of a modern Simon and Garfunkel with influences from the likes of Ben Howard, Kings of Convenience and Kodaline, Amistat are definitely best enjoyed live. A safe place to be, to feel, to heal and to inspire. Their vocal harmonies create a unique synergy which stems from their contrasting personalities and musical styles blending together. Their authentic lyrics speak of what they have learnt to be true in life and love, sharing their stories and songs about these lessons, most of which they wrote while on the road.

Snoop Dogg recently shouted out “Crystal Starr and the Bowties” as being a Star.
Crystal Starr fly’s the flag for female activism and Children in Foster care, aiming always to encourage women and children to free themselves from the shackles of societal pressures and to be themselves. Crystals' newest single ‘Goodie Two Shoes,’ from her upcoming album StarrShip, tells the story of the pressures a girl goes through while trying the do the “right thing” in a world filled with pressures to do just the opposite. Deemed a “Goodie Two Shoes” herself, Crystal was always teased for not falling into the trap of the many peer pressures many girls feel in today's fast-moving life. Never wanting to become a star based on account of a “Sex sells” idealism, she chose to empower herself and others by believing in herself, even if it meant taking the longer route. Starr chose to teach other girls that, by remaining in your power, “You Are Enough” through her Girl Empowerment Concert series, in which she produces through her non-profit Little Voices, “She Sessions” which empowers thousands of girls in foster care. The Music Video is a fun throwback concept Crystal Starr came up with which pay’s tribute to powerful woman artists such as Janet Jackson, TLC, and SALT N PEPA whom she looked up to growing up in the early 90s."
Crystal Starr’s voice celebrates all women, and her records stand as a collection of true stories inspired by the women in her life who have overcome abuse, only to persevere and grow stronger. Crystal Starr’s music exists to uplift and encourages women to be a community that supports one another.
Dan's love of music blossomed in Englewood High School, CO as the founding member and the musical director of the a cappella group Graffiti Tribe. Tribe received national recognition after winning the prestigious Harmony Sweepstakes Competition and went on to perform at 100s of colleges throughout the country. They also sang the National Anthem for the Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars. A memorable highlight of Dan's career was sharing the stage with Charlie Wilson's Gap Band at the Orange Bowl for the NCAA National Championship Game.
In 2001 The Tribe signed a multi-album deal with Def Jam's Priority Records, but it was cut short by the World Trade Center Bombings. They did continue to lift spirits by performing in countless NYC Fire Stations and Police Precincts. It was during this time that they were tapped to perform a music video with the surviving family members from this tragic event.
When in NYC the Tribe boys would often sing for the patrons at Raos including regulars Bo Dietl, Sonny Grosso and luminaries Billy Squire, Steven Van Zandt, Phil Ramone and Clive Davis.
Dan, a fixture on the Denver music scene and lifetime George Michael fan, was asked by the city's largest promoter to participate in a tribute show featuring the songs of George Michael, Prince and David Bowie. It was during these shows that the seed was planted for "The George Michael Experience.” With a love for George Michael’s music, Dan brings you a show that celebrates the award-winning artist’s career in music. He also lends his voice to many superstars songs as a background vocalist and is one of the most sought after male vocalists for corporate Colorado and session work. Dan Perkins continues to stun audiences with his mind-blowing vocal range and has no intention of slowing down!
From a basement in Kommetjie, a small surf town on the southern tip of Africa, to stages across the world, Diamond Thug has quickly become one of South Africa’s most prominent Independent acts.
Like the birth of the universe, the band converged through chance events seemingly destined by fate amongst life’s chaos. Their music floats in a space between traditionally defined genres. Described by Indie Shuffle as ‘Space-Age Folk-Rock’, the band merges elements of Alternative, Electronica, and Folk, often grounded in subtle South African grooves.
Since their formation, Diamond Thug has continually evolved, always striving to create a unique sound that stays true to their perspective. Their music glides through dream-pop, skittish, off-kilter electronica & psychedelic-rock, creating cosmic-influenced ethereal soundscapes, which swirl below Chantel’s haunting, yet beautiful melodies. The pursuit of an authentic & honest sound has earned the band various honors in international competitions such as Culture Collide’s pick to perform at #SXSW2017, as well as Converse’s Music Global Takeover.
They released their 12-track debut album ‘Apastron’ in April 2018. The record was featured as Apple Music’s New Artist Spotlight, an accolade much revered in the South African music industry. They have also received significant playlisting on Spotify gathering over 3 million streams on the album. In May 2018 the band released ‘Gaiafy’, an EP dealing with themes of mental health and other issues important to them. The EP found international support on Apple Music and Spotify, with features on Indie Shuffle.
The band is passionate about South African music, in 2017, bassist, Danilo Queiros started an independent record label: Kudukudu Records to promote other great South African acts to the world.
Scan the press on soul-groove outfit Dirty Streets and you’ll see numerous references to rock, soul, and dirty-blooze touchstones like the Faces, Humble Pie, Otis Redding, CCR, and more. Spin Dirty Streets’ records and you’ll hear all of those echoes, plus others—some jazz timing, some acoustic balladry. But by and large, what you’ll hear is a raw, rowdy blend of Motown, Stax, and rock—the pure American blood-beat moving through the heart of Memphis groove.
Austin-born Justin Toland (guitar/vocals) found his own musical food early through his father, a classic-rock aficionado who turned Justin on to the Stones, Creedence, soul music and the Stax sound. At 17 Toland moved to Memphis and met Thomas Storz (bass), a native of the city, through mutual friends; the pair found common musical ground and began playing groove-grounded rock with a series of temporary drummers. Andrew Denham (drums), a Shreveport-born drummer and British hard-rock fan, joined up with Storz and Toland in 2007.
The trio began demoing using a basic setup: a single cassette recorder, no tracks, no real separation, just mics on the bass/drums and guitar and vocals live in the room. Without the option to isolate, tweak, or sweeten after the fact, Dirty Streets became accustomed to running through a take 40 or 50 times as they worked to get it right, all the way through. By the time they began gigging live, that level of discipline had honed Dirty Streets into an instinctual, responsive outfit. Bootleg recordings of their shows in and around Memphis helped to generate buzz, and established Dirty Streets’ rep as a band whose timing was as sharp as their sound was ragged.
Albums followed—Portrait of a Man (2009), Movements (2011), Blades of Grass (2013), White Horse (2015), Distractions (2018), and the live Rough and Tumble (2020), drawn from an in-house performance for the DittyTV streaming music service—all steeped in the raw rock-soul groove that serves as the band’s taproot, the musical core from which all of its explorations still proceed. And within that core, too, is the element that gives their music, the music they love and play, its unique character.
“Soul and blues music is about testifying,” says Toland. “To me, that’s great songwriting. When it’s good, it’s good because it’s true, because it’s authentic.”
DYLAN McDONALD & THE AVIANS
Dylan McDonald and The Avians deliver an intoxicating brand of eclectic rock reminiscent of John Lennon, Neil Young, Tom Petty, while creating their own path and making a distinct mark on the musical landscape. “That comparison is flattering,” McDonald admits. “They are such influences to use musically that it makes sense that people hear it in our music, but I am humbled anyway.” McDonald is the main songwriter on the records. Although Dylan is the son of 5 time Grammy Winner, Michael McDonald; he has his own unique voice and rock style.
The Avians feature McDonald on lead vocals and guitar, Daniel DeMonico on lead guitar, Matt Heasley on keys, Taylor Lonardo on bass guitar and Joshua Cobb on drums, with singer Peyton Parker on vocals.
Dylan and the Avians have traveled extensively in the US, performing at festivals, clubs, radio shows, and as openers for various Rock acts.
“This band is different than any that I have been in,” Cobb confides. “It’s a lot more old school because we record live. It’s all recorded live in the studio and not many bands do that anymore - It’s about being together. I enjoy doing these songs that way. To me, it is like showing respect to the past.”
Dylan and The Avians have 3 albums to their credit; “Out From The Door”, “Fueled By Dreams Of The Future” and their newest release for 2019, “Lost Weekend.”
Flo Chase is an indie pop singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and model. His emotional lyrical content reflects upon his past experiences in dealing with heartbreak and growing up as the child of French settlers in Sydney, Australia. Although Flo Chase is only 24-years old, his recent move to Los Angeles, California, marks the third continent that he has lived on during the past decade. Nevertheless, the experience of moving from country to country, while missing his loved ones, has helped him create the sentimental substance for his new music. Songs that he now intends to share on a larger platform, “To be honest I’ve always had the American dream growing up as a kid. So this was a long planned trip…it felt like the USA would be a great ground with the opportunity to reach out to a much wider audience,” said Flo Chase. Today, Chase has released his debut EP “Le Debut” comprising of hit single ‘Lonely River’ and his debut music video available on Vevo. With new material just around the corner, Flo is really excited for you all to hear what he has been working on including his brand new single ‘Spinning Wheel’.
Bright beams of enlightenment and vulnerability stream in through indie folk-pop artist Graci Phillips’ music. Her elegantly expressive songs burst forth with pop hooks, sweetly lush orchestral touches, playful and impressionistic lyrics, and broadly resonate themes such as relationships, self-growth, and issues of mental health.
Previously, the Nashville, Tennessee-based artist released her debut album, Catastrophe (2011), which was themed around a high school “first love” breakup. She followed her first release with the six-song collection, Burning House EP. This release’s organic and raw instrumental approach will set the tone for future releases, including her sophomore album which she is currently tracking.
Graci grew up immersed in the freewheeling life of a musician, as her parents are singer-songwriters and took her along on their performing adventures. Graci got her start in a family band, but quickly set out her own distinct path and has grown to be a seasoned live performer in her own right. Select onstage career highlights include performing at the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon for 52,000-plus runners and spectators, and performing for several thousand people in LA at the 2012 ASCAP I Create Music Expo. When she’s not onstage or in the studio, Graci gives back by being a mentor to young female writers through the non-profit Girls Write Nashville.

J AND THE 9S
J and the 9s story is a New York version of Romeo and Juliet. A hockey-playing half Puerto Rican Catholic boy from Brooklyn and musical theatre-loving Jewish Italian girl from Staten Island meet playing in rival bands in the New York City rock scene. Three years and a million wild stories later, we are left with j9 (Jeanine), and Beatz (Chris), a two-piece band that plays a high energy combination of hard rock and punk with plenty of glam, glitter, and a flute.
Chris went to the legendary Gramercy Theatre in NYC to see the band play and watched screaming in the front row. After the show, he bought a t-shirt and Jeanine suggested that he cut the shirt up. Like any polite Puerto Rican guy he pulled out his handy knife and cut the shirt up, took his own off, and put on the newly distressed merch. He claims the site of his six-pack did the trick, and she claims it was his rugged sense of style. Either way, their first date was after the show at The Lyric Diner, of course.
As you might imagine both Jeanine and Chris were inspired in very different ways by very different parents. Jeanine grew up with very supportive parents. Her father was a mechanical engineer and inventor while her mother was an executive assistant at a huge accounting firm. Growing up her days were filled with music, dance, and acting lessons along with trips to museums, Broadway plays, and classical concerts. At the same time, the Barreto family had Chris working with his father’s chimney cleaning company during the summer and pee-wee hockey on the weekends, but his detective mother was hoping that he would follow her and continue her badge number. Whenever he was at his grandmother’s house he would sneak into the basement and beat on his uncle’s drum set. However, when she offered to buy him a set of his own his parents wouldn’t allow it. So, Chris used his weekend and summer sweeping money to buy his own.
ON THE ROAD:
J and the 9s are always on the road in their wildly colorful painted RV. They typically perform between 100-150 shows a year. They have performed at Summerfest, along with multiple Warped Tours and SXSW festivals. But their travels don't stop at the border this band has taken the stage at festivals as far away as The Lancaster Music Fest in the UK, The Zandari Fest in Seoul, Korea, and The V-Rox Fest in Vladivostok, Russia. j9 and Beatz along with their cats Max and Ruby, and dog Rusty, have traveled the globe putting on their amazing shows for thousands of old fans and capturing new ones along the way.
Currently residing in Long Beach, CA with new music and a newborn in tow, they are not only embarking on a new musical journey, but a new journey as parents as well. They are excited of what the future will bring!

KINGS & HOOLIGANS
Hailing from Houston, TX "Kings & Hooligans" is the brainchild of Grammy nominated musician, music producer, and recording engineer Oscar White. After years of being a "hired gun" and collaborating with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Steve Aoki, and Schoolboy Q, Oscar endeavored to curate a fresh new sound with his inner circle of friends, vocalists and musicians. Comprised of vocalists Three Bubble, Robert Hodge, Steelo Scheme and musicians Sydney Penny (Drums) DJ Wreck (DJ), AmaruTMN (Trumpet, Synth Bass, Drum Machine), and Joey Ave (Piano). The eclectic mix of artists with a range of styles brings one voice from Kings & Hooligans.
"I was born and raised by the sea. Learned to surf before I started to walk. My parents were my music gurus, they played me and my siblings the most amazing records one can only imagine, from T Bone Walker to Leonard Cohen. When I look back at my childhood I recall vinyls everywhere, long walks on the beach, endless sunny days, laughter and tears. Music was a natural state of mind. It was my safe place and so, while growing up, it became an essential part of me.
But I ended up doing a degree in Economics and working in a bank. Why? I don't know why. Human beings like to harm themselves sometimes and maybe that was what I did back then. I found myself so creatively restricted and stripped of all my hopes and dreams, to the point that I got really ill. One day I collapsed in the bank and at the hospital I was first diagnosed with leukaemia but which thankfully turned out to be chronic anaemia. The shock helped me realise that life is precious and we can’t waste time living an unhappy and unfulfilling life. Since that day, I decided to choose music...forever. Like Bukowski says: You have to die a few times before you can really live.”
So what I do now as an artist is bound up with who I am as a person. I practice what I preach. I support the Extinction Rebellion movement so I make my records in a fully solar powered studio. And I believe in artist empowerment, especial for women, so I do everything through my own independent company, all my copyrights, everything. It’s outrageous that music artists are still forced to sign their lives away for a pittance – look at Taylor Swift, all her copyrights now owned by her worst enemy!"
What does it mean to be iconic? It's something greater than excellence, and more fundamental and resonant than perfection. An icon doesn't just stand for something – it encapsulates its essence and transmits that essence to its audience.
The members of LVVRS (pronounced “lovers”) wouldn't call themselves iconic, but their casual confidence makes it clear that they possess what it takes to be so. They understand the power that iconic status confers, and they're ready to chase the glory. "Iconic," their aptly-titled new single, sounds big and sleek, catchy, punchy, and immediate; it's a sonic expression of extreme self-confidence.
Despite humble beginnings in Acadiana, the humid, verdant, tree-shrouded Southern region of Louisiana, LVVRS developed a sound that would play anywhere. The group performs with the power and conviction of modern rockers, but they've also got the precision, meticulousness, and attention towards sonic detail suggestive of major pop artists.
Maiah Wynne captivates audiences worldwide with the alluring and enigmatic duality present in her music. An award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Maiah delivers powerful and universally resonant lyrics with a hauntingly beautiful voice layered in sophisticated and emotive folk/pop soundscapes. Her vocal quality conveys a rare combination of opposing elements that contribute to a timeless and genuinely unique signature sound with wide appeal - simultaneously delicate and strong, light and dark, “pretty-but-raw.” (The Missoula Independent) Oregon Public Broadcasting described her song Sleep as “a gorgeous piece of orchestral folk pop that hides a sinister lyrical theme,” and KEXP wrote of Maiah’s “dusky, delicate voice brimming with emotion.” Varied timbres of dulcimer, keyboards, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, guitar and percussion reveal her multi-talented musical facility, and amplify her ethereal vocal lines.
In addition to finalizing her first full length album, Maiah is currently collaborating on an EP with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Alex Lifeson of Rush, and Juno Award winner Andy Curran. As the winner of the International Music from the Moon Contest in 2019, Maiah performed her original song Show the World for astronauts at the Apollo 11 Homecoming Dinner at the Space and Rocket Center, and recorded at the legendary FAME studios. Additional accolades include winning The Burl Audio Covid19 Songwriting Contest (2020), the Claim to Fame International Song Contest (2018), the HATCH Groundbreaker Award for Music (2016), Zoo Music Awards 18 and Under (2015), and earning Second Place in KEXP’s Battle of the Bands competition (2018).
“The sky is clearly the limit for this rising folk star." (The Revue) Maiah has featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered (2019), at Sundance (2016), SXSW (2017), and in-studio on KEXP (2018). Her numerous film music placements include the major motion picture The Ballad of Lefty Brown starring Bill Pullman. She has collaborated with the Portland Cello Project and opened for artists and bands including Lucinda Williams, Dave Mathews, Tanya Tucker, Indigo Girls, Beth Ditto, Ruby Omanfu, Brandi Carlile, members of Thunderpussy and Pearl Jam, Asleep at the Wheel, The Sweet Remains, We Three, Glasys, Butterscotch, and Rising Appalachia at festivals such as Red Ants Pants, Timber, NW Folklife, Upstream, and more.
Maiah identifies as queer and has a passion for social justice which drives much of her work. She often writes songs about underrepresented populations, facilitating healing, drawing much needed attention to critical issues, and raising funds for positive change. Maiah has donated time and funding to organizations including the Arts Fund Seattle, Black Resilience Fund, First Aid Arts, Missing and Murdered Indigeneous Women USA, the Misool Foundation, NAACP, UNCUT Youth Programs, and WaterWatch. “What made us fall for her even more was her drive to use her talents to make a difference.” (30A Magazine)

Nick Black is a fun, optimistic, and authentic young artist from Memphis, TN. Influenced by the feel-good music of Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, and the musicality of legacy acts such as Al Green and Sting, Nick has created his music to sound modern and unique, yet familiar and nostalgic.
He strives to bring his optimistic life-vision to his music, imbuing his beliefs in human nature and the Universe, that are true, honest, perceptive and passionate. His stage presence as an entertainer is quite something to behold. Nick pulls the audience in and doesn’t let them go. He creates an experience that he wants everyone to be part of. Pulling people up from the crowd, singing to a fan in the front row...everyone's included. He grew up between two worlds: his family’s deep ties to church, and his home-town of Memphis where Soul, RnB, Rock N’ Roll, and Blues legends made names for themselves, Black’s sound is an organically grown phenomenon, honed at open mic nights, in church, at hundreds of club gigs, and now on larger stages across the USA.
Since his first album in 2012, The Soul Diaries, his authenticity and passion has been the foundation of his identity, both as a person and as an artist. OF SEA AND STONE
Of Sea and Stone is an emerging Americana duo known for their polished vocal harmonies and intimate songwriting. Their sound ranges from joyful to solemn, hopeful to desperate, with raw, honest lyrics carried by their haunting melodies. The duo consists of Luke Dierker and Morgan Dierker, who met in January 2014 through the popular dating app Tinder. The two quickly discovered their natural vocal chemistry and began writing together in Morgan’s hometown of Columbia, MO. The following week, the two performed their first show at Gunter Hans, a small German café in Columbia. After a few years of regularly performing in Columbia, the two got married and moved to Austin, TX.
In October 2016, Of Sea and Stone began recording their debut album at Dark Horse Recording in Franklin, TN with producer Billy Smiley and mixing engineer Richie Biggs (The Civil Wars, Barton Hollow). The album features guitarist Brad Rice (Keith Urban), drummer Jared Kneale (Hunter Hayes, Kacey Musgraves), bassist Danny O’Lannerghty, and guitarist Brennan Smiley of The Technicolors. The album is self-titled Of Sea and Stone and was released on December 1st, 2017 through The Orchard and Soundly Music of Nashville, TN.

They have played the historic Blueberry Hill Duck Room in St. Louis, the notable Stubb's BBQ in Austin, The Mint in Los Angeles, 12 Today News in Phoenix, and Good Morning San Diego among many other venues.
Though they originally performed around the greater Houston area as a group called At Its Peak, the second half of their unique moniker ties their music to the enduring inspiration of The Crusaders while the first is an acronym of the names of the four original members: “King” Richard Owens (vocals, trombone), Nic Allen (vocalist, bassist), Yul “QuickTime” Dorn Jr. (percussion) and Mark “Texas Hurricane” Scurlock, Jr. (woodwinds, vocals). All of the members of RADS began their musical journeys in the Joe Sample Jazz Orchestra (JSJO), just as the original members of the Jazz Crusaders did in the late 50’s.
Together, they fashion an expansive range of fresh musical concepts, sonic effects, a mix of vocal and instrumental R&B/jazz styles and a forward thinking, 21st Century approach to the classic styles recorded and performed for decades by The Crusaders. Though “Crusaders Overture,” the multi-movement expository opening track on Going Way Back Home, includes the new band’s takes on snippets of three Crusaders’ classics, the other eight full tracks are a mix of originals and re-imaginings of classic R&B hits by Marvin Gaye (“I Want You”) and The O’Jays (“Use Ta Be My Girl”).
RADS Krusaders didn’t simply begin with the blessing of Joe Sample – he helped put the group together in 2013. Three years earlier, the pianist received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from Texas Southern, and returned to teach the TSU Jazz Orchestra Project masters course. This led to the creation of The Joe Sample Jazz Orchestra, whose members included Allen (one of its conductors) and Owens. Sample, who died in 2014, put the band together with students selected by Allen and Owen. He began to mentor these musicians with several rehearsals, song structure and key practice techniques. Another key band mentor is Horace Alexander Young, Director of Jazz Studies at TSU and principal conductor of The Joe Sample Jazz Orchestra.
Writing about the group, Sample said, “When I accepted the position at Texas Southern University, I aimed to teach students the art form of playing and recording music at a high level. The students who became RADS Krusaders opened their hearts and ears to what I needed to share with them from my experience and point of view. The hard work these guys developed in their performance, compositions/arrangements and personality allowed me to appreciate teaching, and it was a lot of fun. It’s a new evolution of ideas towards the Crusaders music and I’m proud to have been a part of such creativity, and not alone, keeping that energy and sound alive.”
Allen also gives a shout out to Henderson, Felder and longtime Crusaders associate, legendary flutist Hubert Laws, who were all tremendously supportive of RADS Krusaders and came to the studio during the recording of their first album.
SAIL BY SUMMER
William Hut & Sail By Summer
It rains a lot in Western Scandinavia, where you’ll find mountains reflected in fjords and the taste of four seasons embrace you. In this environment, you’ll find the melancholic Nordic indie band Sail by Summer. Fronted by Norwegian Grammy award winner William Hut with his characteristic voice and his long time Danish collaborator Jens Kristian behind the keys. Together they have created this universe inspired by the nature that surrounds them.
William Hut is praised internationally for his work with Norwegian Grammy winners Poor Rich Ones, and received rave reviews for his nine solo albums. The genre-dipping pop sound of William Hut is sure to stop listeners dead in their tracks. Hut is probably the finest indie-pop vocalist to emerge from Norway. Hut’s debut solo album Road Star Doolittle was in Rob O’Connor’s (Rolling Stone) list of top 10 albums for 2003. Hafnir Games (2016) is arguably his best, most diverse and beautiful album yet. Stand out tracks include the poetic folk-pop of Bliss, Tussle For Freedom with shades of Death Cab For Cutie’s wistful lyricism and the driving synth/bass bittersweet pop of The Racetrack. Comparisons to Michael Stipe are clear on the gorgeous romance of Balcony View.

Burgeoning singer, songwriter and music producer Xavier Keyz has no intention of redefining R&B. On the contrary... It is his passion for classic soul that continues to make the artist a standout among so many gimmick-ridden acts currently pervading the airwaves. Born and raised in Chicago, Xavier Keyz (a.k.a. Cameron Frazier) began singing at age 2(!). He recalls, “It was Faith Evans’ hit ‘Soon As I Get Home.’ I sang it out loud to my parents and friends and they all gave me this look of surprise. I was just learning to speak and yet I was delivering verses and choruses… and they were in tune!” From that point on, there was little doubt that music was destined to become the major force field in his life. He took to the piano as if he had played it all of his life —playing any song by ear. And thus was born his lifetime moniker: Xavier Keyz.
Ever working to increase his talent, Xavier Keyz was in the right place at the right time, joining Chicago’s Children’s Choir, and then a cappella sextet the Harmony Brothers at Kenwood Academy during high school. They sang at basketball games and other local functions around Chicagoland area, hoping to make a name for themselves. After downsizing to four members and then to two (as J2), Xavier Keyz and his partner released a full- length album, “Another Level” in 2012. It was three months later when Xavier realized that his best shot at notoriety was as a solo artist.
Music always remained Priority No. 1: Xavier Keyz’ first official step into the solo music realm was single “Trip To Mars” in the fall of 2013, which was followed in February 2014, by love song “Nobody Else But You,” a collaboration with songstress B.Lin. That became the game-changer for Xavier Keyz, creating massive buzz in the Midwest—and then beyond —including positive press on USAToday.com, thisisrnb.com, Youknowyougotsoul.com & many others.
Xavier Keyz' released his debut project Monday Thru Sunday in December of 2015. Xavier's project has sold over 5000+ albums direct to his loyal female-based supporter base. His project is about bringing love back to R&B and is a modern Odé to letting his listeners know that love based R&B isn't dead. Xavier began to expand his global supporter base in the fall of 2017 traveling to Mumbai India to perform at the “Totempole Music Fest. In the summer of 2018 he embarked on his first mini tour overseas spending one month in Europe. As one of the headlining acts for his first indie D.I.Y. Euro tour entitled “Its More Than An Algorithm Tour” his tour stops included the following : Rotterdam, & Groningen Netherlands, Luxembourg, Valencia, Spain, & Cannes, France.
“I’m the perfect example of someone that knows that if you believe in yourself and never allow your vision to be diminished by circumstances or the negativity of others, success will find you. I know I have what it takes to shine in a crowded field. It takes perseverance, of course, but this is where I belong. Xavier is currently set to release his sophomore album entitled Red Wine; May 1, 2020 which is accompanied by a trilogy of music videos & his own movie explaining the backstory of his album. The first single entitled “Things Change” is currently available on all digital platforms.
